Book expo attracts students

A book exhibition currently on at the SRV Matriculation Higher Secondary School at Samayapuram has been providing an opportunity to students to understand the importance of developing reading books, apart from their academic schedule.

Books brought out by leading publishers including Oxford University Press, Pearson Longman, Cambridge University, S. Chand & Co, Harper Collins Publishers India, Apple Publishing International, National Book Trust and others have been displayed. The objective of the exhibition is to motivate the pupils to set up personal library so that they could develop the habit of reading books on a sustained basis, according to K. Thulasithasan, principal of the school.

The five-day exhibition, which is open from 9-30 a.m. concludes on Sunday.
