Win the overall championship at the inter-collegiate management meet ‘MancoN 2014’ organized by the St. Joseph’s Institute of Management Tiruchi.

Bishop Heber College (shift I) won the overall championship at the inter-collegiate management meet ‘MancoN 2014’ organized by the St. Joseph’s Institute of Management, St. Joseph’s College here on Tuesday. Jamal Mohamed College (shift I) finished runner up.

Vaheed Zaman of Jamal Mohamed College was adjudged ‘Mr. Mancon 2014’ and G. J. Lakshmi of Cauvery College for Women adjudged ‘Ms. Mancon 2014’.

The commerce students from different colleges from across the state participated in different events – quiz, best manager, ad-zap and corporate walk - that aimed at bringing out their managerial skills.

Rev. F. Andrew, principal, St. Joseph’s College, presided over the inaugural and Rev. G. Lawrence Amal Raj, director, JIM, inaugurated the programme.

Shailesh Kumar Yadav, City Police Commissioner, was the chief guest at the valediction and A. Louis Adaikalaraj, industrialist, gave away prizes to the winners.
