The Bharathidasan University, which, in 1984, founded the Bharathidasan Institute of Management (BIM), a hugely successful B-school, is planning to launch yet another business school this academic year.

The proposed Bharathidasan School of Management would offer an MBA programme with an intake of 60 students, V.M. Muthukumar, Vice-Chancellor, Bharathidasan University, announced at the Senate meeting of the university on Saturday.

Four specialisations — Finance, Human Resource Management, and Marketing and Systems Management — would be offered under the full-time regular programme.
