Reserved tickets could be booked from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Integrated Unreserved Ticketing System (IUTS) was commissioned at Koradacheri railway station on Friday. Under the IUTS, passengers can book reserved as well as unreserved tickets at the same counter.
Reserved tickets could be booked from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. Unreserved tickets will be available for the trains that stop at the station. Member of Parliament A.K.S. Vijayan who inspected the passenger amenities available at the Koradacheri railway station purchased the first ticket under the IUTS to mark its commissioning.
Divisional Railway Manager Manjula Rangarajan and senior divisional railway officials were present on the occasion, a press release said.
