Arasu TV warns cable operators against collection of excess fee

Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Limited has warned cable operators collecting excess fee beyond the prescribed Rs. 70 per month of stern action.

An official press release here said the corporation was offering 90 to 100 channels, including free-to-air channels, pay channels, and local channels, at a low rate as per the government’s announcement.

It said the corporation had been receiving complaints from the people that some cable operators collect excess fee. People could complain to the Deputy Manager, Arasu Cable TV, Tiruchi district, on 94980–02590 if cable operators charged more than the prescribed fee . People could remit the monthly subscription fee on www.arasucable.com or through Indian Bank/Indian Overseas bank. The corporation has instructed the cable operators to continue providing services to the customers remitting monthly subscription directly to the corporation online or through challan payment.
