Application forms for recruitment

Application forms for the recruitment of Senior Lecturers, Lecturers and Junior Lecturers in District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) and government teacher training institutes under the State Council State Council of Educational Research and Training would be issued through the office of the Chief Educational Officer at the Government Syed Murthuza Higher Secondary School at Marakkadai in Tiruchi from July 15 to 30. Written test for the recruitment would be conducted by the Teachers Recruitment Board. Filled-in applications could be submitted during the same period, N.Anandhi, Chief Educational Officer, said in a press release.

Awareness meet

The Income Tax Department in association with the Tiruchi District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (TIDITSSIA) would host an awareness meet to explain the provisions of the Income Declaration Scheme 2016 at the TIDITSSIA office at Ariyamangalam here at 4 p.m. on July 19. S.Chandrasekaran, Deputy Commissioner of Income Tax, and other officials would brief participants on the provisions of the scheme. Those interested in attending the meet, can register their names with the TIDITSSIA office by dialling 2440119 or 2440114, S.Punniyamurthy, Secretary, TIDITSSIA, said in a press release

Talent search examination

Applications for the Tamil Nadu Rural Talent Search Examination should be submitted between August 1 and 8, V.Murugan, Regional Deputy Director of Government Examinations, Tiruchi, has said. Students studying class IX in government recognised schools in rural areas can apply for the examination.

The annual income of their parents should not exceed Rs. 1 lakh and they should produce income certificate. Filled-in applications along with the prescribed fee of Rs.10 should be submitted to the Chief Educational Officers through the headmasters of the respective institutions.

Hundred selected students, 50 girls and 50 boys, would be provided a scholarship of Rs.1000 annually from standard IX to XII. Students from municipal and corporation limits are not eligible to apply, he said in a press release.
