Superintendent of Police G. Dharmarajan has urged primary agriculture co-operative credit societies (PACCS) to install closed circuit TV camera (CCTV) and burglar alarm. He held discussions with elected representatives to the co-operative institutions and officials on prevention of thefts. The meeting followed four attempts of robbery at PACCS.

Mr. Dharamarajan said the modus operandi of criminals has changed and they operate on inter-State basis. So prevention should be a joint effort and PACCS officials should co-operate in this connection. People can dial 8883610100 to lodge complaints.
