The Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute (AEC and RI) of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) at Kumulur in Tiruchi district has bagged the best college award 2010 from the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.
A.Tajuddin, Dean of the college, received the award from P.Thangaraju, Vice-Chancellor of the Tamil Nadu Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (TANUVAS) at the TNAU's 40{+t}{+h} foundation day celebrations recently in Coimbatore in the presence of P.Murugesa Boopathi, Vice-Chancellor of the TNAU, and other dignitaries.
P.Balasubramaniam, Associate Professor (soil science and agricultural chemistry), AEC and RI, Kumulur, received the Best Teacher award.
Besides, eight teaching and non-teaching staff of the college _ Prof.Tajuddin, J.Karamathullah, Professor (Agronomy), R.Rajendran, Professor (soil and water conservation).
