India Post has entered into collaboration with Reliance Money Infrastructure Limited for sale of gold coins. The gold coins are available for sale in all Head Post Offices and major post offices in Central region.
‘Guru Pushya Nakshatra’
As a special feature, Reliance Money Infrastructure Limited would provide special discount of 6.5 per cent to customers purchasing gold coins at post offices on the occasion of ‘Guru Pushya Nakshatra’ which falls on August 16.
A press release from the Department of Posts here said 24 carat gold coins were available in 0.5 gram, 1gram, 2 gram, 5 gram, 8 gram, 20 grams and 50 grams denominations.
