28 injured in jallikattu events

Twenty eight persons were injured in jallikattu events held in Tiruchi and Pudukottai districts on Sunday. The event in Tiruchi district was held at Pullambadi near Kallakudi.

The event in Pudukottai was held at the ground near Thadikonda Ayyanar temple near Pudukottai town. Around 575 bulls were released with 60 tamers taking part. Thirteen persons were injured of which five were referred to the Pudukottai Medical College Hospital for higher treatment.
