22,730 appear for TNPSC Group II exam

About 22,730 candidates appeared for the written exam, conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) for recruitment of candidates for Group II service, at 62 centres in the district on Sunday. About 7,930 of the 30,661 candidates, who had registered, were absent.

Jayashree Muralidharan, Collector, visited Seva Sangam Girls’ Higher Secondary School and Urumu Dhanalakshmi College in Kattur, and inspected the arrangements.

Web cameras

A release said that web cameras were installed at four centres where more than 1,000 candidates wrote the examination.

Mobile teams

As many as 19 mobile teams ensured fair conduct of the examination.
