The Central University of Tamil Nadu (CUTN) here has introduced 13 new programmes this academic year. The CUTN’s growth is reflected in the number of applications received by the university – 40,816 applications – this year from students across the country as against the 27,299 received last year.

Listing out the new programmes, CUTN Controller of Examinations A. Events held

The Central University of Tamil Nadu Registrar S. We have been conducting a series of events to sensitize rural and local students to the prospects of entering our university.”

Vice-Chancellor A. P. Dash said that in all, the CUTN offers 45 programmes that included PhD, postgraduate and five-year integrated courses in Tamil, English, Hindi, Economics, Social Work, History, Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences, Epidemiology and Public Health, Microbiology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Applied Psychology, Commerce, Business Administration, Education, Materials Science, Media and Communication, Library and Information Science, Music and Geography.

The first round of counselling for the courses offered in the university would be conducted from June 28 to 30.
