The Youth Congress demanded here on Sunday that the members of the Assembly who had received mobile phones as gift from the government should return them.

Youth Congress leaders R.V. Rajesh, K.P. Sreekumar and B.R.M. Shafeer said that Finance Minister Thomas Isaac had some hidden agenda in spending Rs.29 lakh to please the members when Kerala was facing price rise and financial difficulties.

They said that the Youth Congress was pledged to carry out the proposals in the resolutions approved by its State conference. It was welcome that the Congress leadership had accepted the demand for better representation for youth in the party. — Special Correspondent
