: Film-maker Kamal Swaroop feels that the current stand-off between the Censor Board and Bollywood is moving towards a ‘win-win’ game.

He says that Bollywood will bring to bear immense pressure on the government to clear Udta Punjab and the government might relent, but with other intentions.

“Arun Jaitley and Shyam Benegal have started speaking about the need to revamp the certification board. If the rules are amended so as to allow full freedom of expression, it will be well-utilised by the right wing too. They will flood the market with their ideological products. Then, if the liberals object to it, they will turn around and tell them — But you asked for it,” he says.
