Wheelchair path at Raj Bhavan

January 25, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:44 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Governor P. Sathasivam on Saturday threw open a pathway — intended for those who are wheelchair-bound — leading to the Raj Bhavan’s reception area.

A press note issued here said Anila Rani from Kannur and George from Thiruvananthapuram were assisted by the Governor himself to use the pathway.

The pathway was the initiative of Pallium India to spread the message that there should be similar facilities at all public spaces.

Pallium India CEO G. S. Manoj was among those who were present on the occasion, the press note said.
