Two children hailing from Tamil Nadu were found dead in a house in MSK Nagar near Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in the capital on Tuesday morning.

The deceased had been identified as Dominic (10 years), son of Arogyam hailing from Tirunelveli in Tamil Nadu, and 12-year-old Karthik.

Arogyam, a peanut seller, who was staying in a rented house along with his wife, left to his native place on Monday following the death of his relative, police said.

Arogyam had left his 12-year-old daughter in the adjacent relative’s house and Dominic in their house along with one of his employee, Karthik before proceeding to Tirunelveli.

The two bodies were noticed by the Arogyam’s daughter who stepped into the house on Tuesday morning. Blood stains were found and police suspect it to be a case of murder. Senior police officials had rushed to the spot and have started investigations.
