Training programme for school principals

The management training programme for school principals, organised by the State Institute of Educational Management and Training (SIEMAT)-Kerala, will be held all over the State on May 21 and 22, according to a statement.

The training will be held in 163 educational sub-districts across the State. The programme will focus on school improvement initiatives and the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act. The academic and infrastructure development initiatives to be taken up by school principals in the academic year 2010-11 will also be discussed.

The State resource group training for the management training of school principals was held here the other day. District resource group training will be held on May 18 and 19 in all the districts under the supervision of DIET principals.

School principals are directed to contact their respective DEOs for the details of the training programme.
