Traffic to be regulated in Thiruvananthapuram

Traffic regulations will be enforced in the city from 1 p.m. on Friday in view of a march by the Kerala Region Latin Catholic Council from Martyrs’ Square at Palayam and a public meeting at the Putharikandam grounds at 3 p.m.

According to a press release by the city police, vehicles from Pattom, Vellayambalam will go via RR Lamp – Public Library – Nandavanam – Panchapura – Flyover – Panavila – Model School towards Thampanoor and East Fort.

Vehicles from the Chakka side will go via Pettah – Pattoor – Vanchiyoor – Uppidamoodu – Sreekanteswaram – Mithranandapuram towards East Fort, while vehicles towards Thampanoor should go via Uppidamoodu – Chettikulangara – Overbridge.

When the march reaches the Overbridge area, vehicles from the Chakka side towards Thampanoor will go via Asan Square – Flyover – GV Raja – RR Lamp – Public Library or via Asan Square – Under-passage – Panchapura – Panavila. — Special Correspondent
