Three persons, including a woman, were injured in a suspected clash between rival gangs in Mundukadu near Barton Hill in the city late on Friday.

Two persons – Sharat Sundaresan, 24, of Kunnukuzhy, and Vipin, 24, of Barton Hill – were admitted to the Government Medical College Hospital with sword wounds, while a woman, Sukumari, 40, sustained injuries when she reportedly tried to intervene and pacify the clashing parties, which allegedly included her son.

The Museum Police said the clash was around 11 p.m.
