September 10, 2009 05:13 pm | Updated 05:13 pm IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The talks between the Kerala government and the promoters of the Smart City Project in Kochi here on Thursday failed to fully resolve the contentious issue of “free hold” land for the project. However, the talks will continue.

Chief Secretary Neela Gangadharan and Chief Executive Officer of TECOM Fareed Abdul Rahman, who represented the government and the Dubai-based promoters respectively, said the talks had ended on a positive note. Discussions would continue after the meeting of the board of directors of the joint sector company.
