Swachh Bharat Mission to conduct contests

Last date for entries for essay, short film contests is Sept 8

The Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) is conducting a national-level essay and short film contest.

The subject for the essay contest is ‘What can I do for a clean India’ and that for the short film contest is ‘My contribution to a clean India.’

Last date for entries is September 8. There is no age limit. There are separate categories for the elderly and the differently abled.

Essays, typed or hand-written, and not exceeding 250 words should be sent to www.mygov.in in JPEG/PNG/PDF formats.

Animations allowed

The short films, not more than three minutes long, can be shot using smart phone, camera, and digital recorder.

Animations are allowed for the contest.

The entries should be own work.

These should be sent to www.youtube.com and the link shared with www.mygov.in .

The entries can be in English, Malayalam, Hindi, and other regional languages.

There will be three winners at the national level. State and district-level prizes will also be given away.
