: Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) president V.M. Sudheeran on Thursday wrote to Governor P. Sathasivam seeking his intervention in ending the bar on mediapersons from entering courts as part of their work.

Mr. Sudheeran pointed that differences between mediapersons and lawyers had led to such a situation. The curbs on mediapersons limit the people’s right to information, not to mention its adverse impact on transparency in delivery of justice.Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the State administration had failed to solve the tiff between the media and lawyers, Mr. Sudheeran said.
