stale food seized

Stale and spoilt food material was seized from four eateries in the city by a corporation health squad led by health inspector Rathikumar.

According to Mr. Rathikumar the material seized included spoilt fish curry, meat, cutlets gone bad, and pieces of chicken and beef intended to be used in puffs or samosas. Inspections were conducted at eateries including one inside the premises of the city corporation office and another, at the Bakery Junction, he said.

The seized food material was brought to the health office inside the Palayam market.
