Science-orientation programme begins

Developing a scientific temperament among students is as important as amassing knowledge, Executive Vice President of the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Education (KSCSTE) Suresh Das has said.

He was speaking after inaugurating Sastra Sameeksha 2016, the third season of a science-orientation programme organised for schoolchildren by the KSCSTE, at Sastra Bhavan on Monday. The camp is for students in the 13-16 age group. The three-day programme encompasses interactive sessionsand academicians followed by an activity-oriented session.

The season was flagged off in Kochi followed by Kozhikode, Wayanad and Thiruvananthapuram.
