Schools do well in CBSE Plus Two exam

Students in city schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) performed well in theAll-India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE), the results of which were published on Monday.

Out of the 47 students who took the examination at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chettachal, 39 secured distinction and eight, first class. T.S. Bhagyanath is the school topper who scored 475 out of 500 marks.

At Arya Central School, Pattom, 160 of the 265 students secured distinction. A. Aswathy topped the list with 488 out of 500 marks.

Holy Angels School, Vanchiyoor, registered a 100 per cent pass. Out of the 77 students who took the examination, 57 secured distinction, and 19 first class. In the Computer Science stream, Anitta Denny was the school topper with 95.2 per cent. In the Biology stream, Devu Dilip became the topper with 95 per cent.

Jyothis Central School, Kazhakoottam, registered an impressive performance with 14 out of the 44 students securing distinction. Elizabeth George is the topper of the school with 93.6 per cent.

At St. Thomas Central School, Mukkolakkal, 312 students took the examination. As many as 172 secured distinction and 99 secured first class. Adarsh Anil Kumar and Levin Jake Varghese shared the top slots in the Science stream with 97 per cent. Renil Raju Abraham secured the top slot in the Humanities stream with 95.6 per cent.

Out of the 52 students who took the examination, 30 secured distinction at Vishwabharathy Public School, Neyyattinkara. C.A. Akhil is the topper with 94 percent. At Dr. G.R. Public School, Neyyattinkara, 71 students appeared, 28 passed with distinction, and 28 with high first class.

The school topper is D.V. Arjun with 96 per cent.

Out of the 326 students who took the examination at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pattom, 188 secured distinction. Gokul R. Pillai is the school topper with 97.8 per cent. Sree Narayana Public School, Gurudevapuram, registered a 100 per cent pass.

Out of the 52 students who took the examination, 21 secured distinction. Padma Mohan is the school topper with 95 per cent.

At Chinmaya Vidyalaya Attukal, out of the 71 students who took the examination, 21 got distinction, 34 got first class, and 12 second class. Darshna V. Nair is the topper of the school with 92 per cent.

Out of the 27 students of Bishop Pereira Memorial School, Karamoodu, who appeared for the examination this year, 16 students got distinction, nine first class, and two students got second class. S. Sarannath and S. Shilpa shared the top position securing 88 per cent.

Sree Chithira Tirunal Residential Central School, Karakonam, registered a 100 per cent pass with 16 out of the 23 students securing distinction and seven getting first class. Aneez Fathima is the topper with 92 per cent.

At Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Vithura, 39 out of 47 students scored distinction.

Christ Nagar School, Thiruvallam, and Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya, were the other schools which registered 100 per cent pass. At the former, 85 students secured distinction, and 13 first class. Sruthi Whence is the topper of the school with 96.2 per cent.

As many as 31 out of 93 students secured distinction and 57 first class at Navajeevan Bethany Vidyalaya.

Out of the 363 students who appeared for the examination, 237 secured distinction and 110 first class at Saraswathi Vidyalaya Senior Secondary Residential Central School, Vattiyoorkavu.

Hafis Mohammed with 91 per cent is the topper of Sree Chitra Public School, Pandakasala where eight out of 19 students secured distinction and 19, first class.
