Says with PM’s Israel visit, country has become part of an axis that sows violence

Lok Sabha member A. Sampath has accused the Sangh Parivar of having unleashed a reign of terror across the country.

“With Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Israel, India has become part of an axis that sows violence across the globe,” Mr. Sampath said while inaugurating a rally taken out under the aegis of the Vallakkadavu Muslim Jama-at here on Friday.

Hundreds take part

The rally, which began from the Vallakkadavu Valiya Mosque and in which hundreds of people from different parts of the locality participated, covered Priyadarshini Nagar, Ponnara Bridge, and NS Depot Junction before concluding at Eenchakkal Junction.

Vallakkadavu Jama-at president A. Saifudeen Haji, Jama-at chief imam Aslam Bakhavi Thamarakkulam, Jawahirul Uloom, Arabic College principal Vizhinjam Abdurahman Sakhafi, Jama-at office-bearers, and leaders of various political parties are among those who took part in the rally.
