Suvidha special trains from December 8

The Southern Railway will run Suvidha special trains in the Ernakulam-Howrah sector to clear the rush of passengers during Sabarimala season.

The Ernakulam-Howrah Suvidha superfast train (No.02836) will leave Ernakulam junction at 8. 50 a.m. on December 8 and will reach Howrah at 11 p.m. next day. The Howrah-Ernakulam Suvidha superfast weekly special (No. 02853) will leave Howrah at 5 p.m. on December 12 to 16 (Saturdays) and will reach Ernakulam junction at 6 a.m. on Mondays.

In the return direction Ernakulam-Howrah Suvidha superfast (No. 02836) will leave Ernakulam junction at 8.50 a.m. from December 15 to 26 (Tuesdays) and will reach Howrah at 11 p.m. on the next day. The trains will stop at Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Podanur, Coimbatore, Erode, Jalarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajamundry, Duvvada, Vishakapatnam, Bhampur, Kurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak and Kharagpur. However, Howrah-Ernakulam Suvidha superfast weekly special will not stop at Palakkad, Thrissur and Aluva.

The trains would have one second AC, four third AC, 12 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum-general second class coaches.
