Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat has lauded the efforts made by Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram director P. Parameswaran for the betterment of society.
He was inaugurating a cultural meet marking the conclusion of the Navathi celebrations of Mr. Parameswaran on Tuesday. Mr. Bhagwat said Mr. Parameswaran had unconditionally dedicated his life for nation building. “People like him strengthened our resolve in attaining our goals. His life is a model for all (RSS) activists,” he said.
According to him, RSS is a particular way of life which required a “definite set of values to fulfil a definite set of roles.” “Our sole goal is to work for the all-round emancipation of the nation. There have always been naysayers who have come in the way of our work. Detractors should not be allowed to dissuade us from attaining our goal,” he said.
Mr. Bhagwat called for dedicated efforts to develop the 40 centres of the Bharatheeya Vichara Kendram in the State as world-class institutions of intellectual pursuit.
Delivering the presidential address, O. Rajagopal, MLA, claimed that those who worked on the basis of the Hindutva ideology sought equality and justice for all sections. Mr. Bhagwat released Heart Beats of Hindu Nation , a compilation of Mr. Parameswaran’s works, and handed over its first copy to Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh (BMS) president Saji Narayanan.
