The Election Commission of India has initiated the process of revising the voters’ list in Assembly constituencies in Kerala.
Indian citizens who completed 18 years of age on January 1, 2013, or before can apply for inclusion in the list. The completed applications will be accepted at taluk and village offices in the State up to October 31 and polling booths on October 14 and 21.
Applicants can also use the e-registration facility on the website ceo.kerala.gov.in.
An official note here on Friday said the Election Commission would provide facilities in all colleges for students to submit online applications. A facility is being arranged for senior citizens aged 70 or above to be included in the voters’ list. On being informed, booth-level officials will visit the residence of a senior citizen and arrange for submission of application.
The address and phone number of booth-level officers can be accessed from the website of the commission or by dialling the toll free call centre number 1950.
