The district administration has prohibited parking of vehicles on the flanks of the stretch between Palayam and East Fort on Mahatma Gandhi Road from December 1. Vehicles will not be allowed to park in the said area between 9.30 a.m. and 11. 30 a.m. and 4 p.m and 6. p.m. The administration had directed traders at Vanchiyoor, Manacaud, Kowdiar, Thycaud and Pattom to submit the sketch of their parking lot approved by the city Corporation.
Directive to traders They were asked to submit the approved sketch of the parking lot to find out whether the space had been utilised properly, an official release here said.
