Religious leaders should keep off politics: Collector

Intervention by religious leaders in politics is a wrong trend, District Collector Biju Prabhakar has said.

Delivering the keynote address at a media workshop organised by the Kerala Media Academy and the Kesari Smaraka Trust here on Friday on the possibilities and challenges of election reporting, Mr. Prabhakar said the manner in which candidates were decided on the basis of their caste was a threat to democracy.
