The ongoing camps for the renewal of ration cards in the State have been extended till March 30, and the maximum number of ration cardholders in each camp has been reduced to 1,000-1,200, Minister for Food and Civil Supplies Anoop Jacob has said.

More facilities such as drinking water and cameras had been provided to reduce the hassles faced by the public, the Minister said in a statement here on Thursday.

The camps would close on all days only after the photograph of all those who reached the venue till 5 p.m. are taken, he said.
