Power tariff revision

KSEB fails to submit proposals

July 25, 2016 12:00 am | Updated 06:03 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The Kerala State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KSERC) has said that the KSEB has not so far submitted proposals for power tariff revision for 2016-17. In a press note here on Sunday, the commission said the KSEB had failed to comply with various legal requirements that made it mandatory for it to submit the application before the specified deadline. Since the KSEB had not submitted the proposals so far, the commission would begin hearing on tariff revision beginning Wednesday, the press note said. — Special Correspondent
