Poor hygiene: ICH asked to close down

Food safety officials conducted raids on the Indian Coffee House (ICH) in Spencer Junction on Friday following a complaint of food poisoning. The restaurant was functioning in unhygienic conditions. Meat and other raw materials were stored in conditions violating norms. Rats were found in the vicinity. Orders have been issued to temporarily stop the functioning of the restaurant and an improvement notice has been served, a press release said.
