Pettah-Anayara road work to begin soon

₹45 crore allocated from KIIFB

The development work of the Pettah-Anayara-Oruvaathilkotta road will begin soon, Tourism Minister Kadakampally Surendran has said.

An amount of ₹45 crore had been allocated from the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board (KIIFB) for the project that would cost ₹65 crore.

Mr. Surendran was speaking at a meeting held at the Collectorate on Saturday to assess the progress of various developmental projects in the Kazhakuttam constituency.

The road would be built using modern technologies with a width of 14 metres,the Minister said.

The Minister gave directions to the officials concerned to take steps to speed up the land acquisition process.

Title-deeds

Deputy Collector V.R. Vinod said that steps to award title-deeds to 89 people in the Ambalathinkara and Valiyaveli areas in the constituency had been completed.
