Pangode Military Station gets new Commander

Brigadier Arun C.G. has assumed the command of Pangode Military Station from Brigadier Michael A.J. Fernandez.

After successfully commanding the Brigade for 23 months, Brig. Michael A.J. Fernandez proceeded for higher studies to National Defence College, Delhi.

Brig. Arun CG was commissioned into the KUMAON Regiment in December 1991 and commanded 20 KUMAON Regiment.

A native of Thiruvananthapuram, he studied at St. Thomas Residential School, Mukkolakkal, Thiruvananthapuram, before joining the National Defence Academy in 1982.

He has attended the Defence Services Staff Course, Higher Command Course and all other mandatory courses.

Brig. Arun has held various Regimental, Staff and Instructional appointments throughout his career. He has been Instructor at Defence Service Staff College at Wellington.
