The family members of Jose Antony who was killed in a chopper crash off Mumbai on Saturday are yet to recover from the shock.

It has just been over a couple of weeks since Jose returned from Kothamangalam to Mumbai after holidaying at his ancestral home. Jose had gone to Kothamangalam with his family in the last week of December as part of attending a wedding in Bengaluru. He and his family left for Mumbai with plans to return in April to celebrate Easter.

Jose is the fourth son of the late P.V. Antony and Pennemma Antony of Perumballichira House at Minippady in Kothamangalam. Having completed his engineering, he joined ONGC as a junior engineer in Assam and also worked in Andhra Pradesh, before moving to Mumbai 12 years ago.

He is survived by his wife Rani and daughters, Reshmitha and Rimitha.
