One more body identified

The body of one more fisherman from Poonthura who went missing after Cyclone Ockhi, kept in the Kozhikode Medical College mortuary, has been identified after DNA tests. The deceased has been identified as Joseph (62). He had set out for fishing along with Moses early morning on November 30. The fishermen in another boat, who had managed to escape back to the shore, said that they had seen the duo rowing back when the wind got strong. Moses is still missing, 50 days after the cyclone struck.

Fourteen fishermen from Poonthura have been confirmed to be dead till now. Twenty-two are still missing.
