A 44-year-old man died after his motorcycle collided with a car at Vellaikkadavu under Vilappilsala police station limits on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Devarajan from Vellaikkadavu.
In another accident in the district on Wednesday, five youths sustained serious injuries when their car collided with a school bus on the National Highway at Mamam in the morning. The injured have been identified as Sajin, Shajeer, Bibin Babu, Avinash, and Praveen Raj. They have been admitted to the KIMS Hospital.
