Scrutiny of papers to be held on April 30

Filing of nominations for the Assembly elections will begin on Friday.

Nominations can be filed from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. till the last day for filing papers on April 29.

The scrutiny of papers will be held on April 30.

Candidates can withdraw the nomination papers till May 2, a press release here said.

The name of constituency and returning officers are as follows: Varkala — G. Raghu, Assistant Secretary, Survey and Land Records, Survey Department; Attingal — S. Sanoop, Assistant Development Commissioner (Performance Audit), Civil Station; Chirayinkeezhu — K.T. Varghese Panicker, Deputy Collector (Land Records), Civil Station; Nedumangad — A. Unnikrishnan, Deputy Collector (Revenue Recovery), Civil Station; Vamanapuram — P.D. Sudhershanan, Assistant Director of Panchayat, Civil Station; Kazhakuttam — A. Gopakumar, Deputy Collector (Land Acquisition), Civil Station; Vattiyurkavu — Moncy P. Alexander, Assistant Commissioner, Land Revenue Commissionerate, Public Office; Thiruvananthapuram — U.
