The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has posted new airport directors for its international airports in Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode as the present incumbents have completed five years at a stretch on ex-cadre posts after getting vertical promotion.

Along with this, the AAI has also posted new Airport Directors for eight other airports under it across the country citing the new policy decision. George G. Tharakan, joint general manager (EE), Port Blair, will replace S. Dhamaraj as airport director, Thiruvananthapuram, and K. Mr. Janardhan succeeds Peter Abraham.

The AAI headquarters has asked all the new airport directors to take charge before May 15.
