Netherlands explores IT potential in State

Marijke A Van Drunnen Littel, consul-general of The Netherlands, at Mumbai, visited the Technopark campus here on Monday along with her team.

Technopark Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mervin Alexander received Ms. Drunnen Littel. She held meetings with Technopark officials.

Mr. Alexander presented an overview of the activities of the Technopark. M. Vasudevan, Technopark Senior Manager (Business Development) made a presentation on the profile of information technology (IT) firms and plans for Kerala's IT development.

Ms. Drunnen Littel made a presentation on the activities and services provided by the Government of The Netherlands. She said companies based in The Netherlands were interested in investing in Kerala. She assured all assistance from her government for the Technopark delegation visiting the country in October.

Ms. Drunnen Littel also visited UST Global, Experion Technologies, and IBS Software Services Ltd. and interacted with senior functionaries.

The consul-general had earlier called on Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
