Naval ships to visit Vizhinjam port

Two ships of Southern Naval Command, INS Kalpeni and INS Kabra, based in Kochi will visit Vizhinjam from Sunday as part of the efforts to bring the Navy closer to the public during the run-up to Navy Day celebration on December 4.

The ships will arrive at Vizhinjam Port on Sunday and will be open to public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 30. The visitors would get to view the interior of the ships, interact with the crew, and get a firsthand knowledge of the Naval vessels, a defence release said.
