The Kerala University Senate Hall came alive on Monday with a vibrant blend of music, dance, and poetry as the university’s music lovers’ forum organised a summer cultural programme, ‘Venalkuliru,’ featuring performances by children of university employees.
“It is delightful to see the staff members passing on their talent and fascination for the arts to their children,” said M. Jayaparakash, director, College Development Council, while inaugurating the event.
The music lovers’ forum was set up in 2003 as an independent organisation.
The forum provides opportunity for the staff to explore and showcase their talents, said A. Ahmed Khan, secretary of the forum.
