Sports Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan has said that Kerala will become the top State in sports in the country after the upcoming National Games.
He was speaking after inaugurating a multipurpose stadium and tennis training at the Mudavanmugal lower primary school.
Mr. Radhakrishnan said steps taken by the government would help young talent in the State achieve more and inculcate the sportsman spirit. Tennis training for children would be conducted in association with the Bhupathi Tennis Academy. V. Sivankutty, MLA, presided over the function. In reply to a request from the MLA, the Minister said the Sathyan Memorial Corporation Stadium would be renovated.
