More sewerage projects to be implemented

More projects will be planned and executed to expand the sewerage system in the city, Minister for Health V.S. Sivakumar has said. He was speaking after inaugurating the sewerage development work in Punnapuram colony here on Tuesday.

Mr. Sivakumar said an amount of Rs.35 lakh had been sanctioned for the installation of new sewerage lines at Pavithra Nagar in Manacaud.

Manholes

A sum of Rs.26.51 lakh had been sanctioned for new sewerage lines around Sreevarahom pond, and Rs.26.32 lakh for reinforced cement concrete manholes in Manacaud, Perunthanni, and Fort wards.
