July 13, 2016 08:41 am | Updated 10:18 am IST - KASARAGOD:

Rifala, who went missing under mysterious grounds along with her husband Ijaz, possibly to an Islamic State terror camp, is reported to have made a call to her residence in Thrikkarippur in the district and claimed that she had left the country in search of a job and not to join the terror group.

The woman on an Internet call to her father is reported to have told him that she had managed to get a placement and was making efforts to get an accommodation.

However, Rifala did not disclose the place from where she was making the call. Her father, in turn, informed the development to the probe agencies. The agencies are trying to locate the place from where she had made the call.

The probe agencies are making efforts to ascertain the whereabouts of the 21 missing persons from the State, of whom 17 are from Padanna and Thrikkaripur in the district.
