Minister for Education C. Ravindranath will on Monday address a workshop for teacher trainers, preliminary to a meeting of all primary, high school, and higher secondary teachers in the districts on March 24 to finalise the modalities for their vacation training.
Unified
RMSA Additional Director T.S. Mathew said that teachers’ training conducted during the vacation by various departments of the State government would be unified this year under the General Education Protection Mission.
The achievements of the mission would also be assessed.
Prior to that on March 24, proper feedback of teachers on the requirements of the training would be collected.
Modalities
Modalities for conducting the training, how to have campuses that were biodiverse so that they could act as textbooks, and brainstorming on how to go about implementing school development plans would be discussed.
The Education Minister would on Monday address the trainers, who would include heads of various arms of the Education department, DIET principals and teachers and so on.
The topic would be on the preparation for the vacation training, Mr. Mathew said.
