The Medical College campus is being cleared of posters, banners and notices and is being spruced up as part of the government’s Aardram Mission initiative to give a welcoming look to hospital campuses.

Posters and banners affixed around the entrance of MCH were removed on Saturday with the help of security officers, staff, and service organisations.

The poster-free campaign was inaugurated by councillor S.S. Sindhu.

Separate notice boards will be set up in various parts of the campus for service organisations to put up notices. Special areas would be found for putting up banners too. Banners and posters from organisations outside MCH campus will not be put up on the campus.

The green protocol of Suchitwa Mission will also be implemented in the campus, an official release said.
