Make previous tenders of port project public: TRIDA chief

May 30, 2015 12:00 am | Updated 05:55 am IST - THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:

The tender and other documents issued during the tenure of the previous LDF government for the Vizhinjam International Deepwater Multipurpose seaport project should be made public before the June 3 all-party meeting, TRIDA Chairman P.K. Venugopal has said. In a letter to Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, he said that making the tenders, floated in 2010, public would enable a free and frank discussion.

Mr. Venugopal said the all-party meeting on October 25, 2009, discussed only matters regarding land acquisition. The minutes of this meeting should also be made public.
